This site has a common sense privacy policy. In the genealogical world that means that living people are protected, whereas dead people are fair game. Please keep in mind that while CousinDetective.com doesn't specifically collect or retain any personally identifiable information, anything you post as a comment is obviously going to be completely public to anyone and everyone. If you send an email, your email address will be stored on a mail server somewhere, but it will never be sold.
This site is hosted by Google, so you should probably read Google's privacy policies too. They are more complicated.
